News - Therapy Dog Teams Pass the Test
Saturday, April 26th was a great day for Therapy Dog Connection. We had a 100% pass rate on testing conducted at Northland Pet Lodge in Crosslake. Members and their dogs have been training for several months, but the training stepped up in April when members trained for three weeks straight.
Several teams from our group were tested by an evaluator for Therapy Dog International. He came from the twin cities area to test our teams.
Therapy Dog Connection now has 12 teams that have passed the test. The next step is to register the teams with a national registry. When the registration comes through, these teams will be ready to serve our community. The following handlers and their dogs passed:
